Terms of Reference

The Executive Committee approved the following Terms of Reference for its work:

1. Members of the Executive Committee are appointed by ISC members, and are broadly representative of the range of stakeholders in the Steering Committee.

2. The members of the Executive Committee are appointed on the basis of their expertise and experience, and are acting as individuals, and not in any institutional capacity.

3. The Executive Committee will remain in place until the period of consultation ends and will have the following roles:
a) Help to design the features of a successful consultative process, based on recommendations from the International Steering Committee.
b) Advise on the design of an open and inclusive consultation on an IMoSEB.
c) Oversee the implementation of the consultation ensuring that key objectives are met.
d) Support the delivery of conclusions of the consultation to the next stage.

4. In all areas of its work the Executive Committee will seek to operate in an open and transparent manner, and to respond to comments and views from the International Steering Committee.
